Primary Responsibilities:
• Track project timelines and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Asana).
• Gather and catalogue assets required for digital product builds and updates from internal teams and/or external partners.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to identify and document bugs and errors before digital product launches or updates.
• Resize and edit images for digital use, using tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
• Add metadata, alternative text, tags, and SEO elements to digital content for improved accessibility and discoverability.
• Administer a digital asset management (DAM) system to ensure organized and accessible content.
• Collaborate with data and analytics teams to support tagging and reporting through dashboard tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, web development, computer science, museum studies, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Familiarity managing and organizing digital assets in a DAM system.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, metadata, and tagging strategies.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Experience testing digital platforms and tracking/reporting bugs or issues.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Passion for museums, education, and cultural engagement through digital channels.
This position is full-time and on site. The salary range is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
