Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the concepting and design of interactive, content-rich environments.
Translate abstract ideas into compelling 2D and 3D visualizations, plans, and models.
Create presentation-ready renderings, diagrams, and design documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., content, tech, and visual design) and external partners (e.g., AV consultants, fabricators).
Assist in prototyping and user testing to iterate spatial concepts.
Contribute to storytelling through layout, sequencing, and integration of digital and physical elements.
Participate in internal and client-facing presentations.
Support documentation for production and fabrication.
Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant experience in architecture, exhibition design, environmental design, or theatrical design.
Strong proficiency in Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite (VRay, Grasshopper, and/or Revit a plus).
Experience with spatial storytelling and interpretation in visitor-centric environments.
Familiarity with interactive technologies, AV integration, or digital fabrication processes.
Strong visualization skills across mediums: sketches, diagrams, renderings, and physical models.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A maker mindset with attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a spatial design-related field.
Nice to Have
Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine.
Understanding of lighting and sound design for immersive environments.
Familiarity with building codes, ADA, and fabrication coordination.
Interest in the intersection of AR/XR and physical space.
