About the Talk
Ever wondered how some artists and designers are able to pull off mega-scale projects, secure funding, and maintain creative soul autonomy?
In this talk, Kitae Kim, Cofounder of Foveate, will give you a look behind the curtain of some amazing experiential projects from his time at Studio Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, answering questions like;
"How can an artist build such massive works?"
"How do you fund these kinds of installations?"
"What makes good media art or an interactive experience truly memorable?"
Kitae will dive into these questions, sharing his experience as both an experiential architect and as a design entrepreneur, showing how business and creativity can go hand in hand at the highest level.
He'll also show what he's doing now with Foveate to help creatives secure a client's confidence in their most ambitious projects.
