About the Talk

Stewart Smith is an award-winning creative technologist, artist, writer, and speaker. He’s led innovation teams across ten time zones, and wields wisdom accrued from his years with Google, Amazon, and Unity. Educated as a graphic designer (MFA, Yale University), his work is multi-disciplinary by nature and has spanned quantum computing, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, aerospace, and fine art. He recently co-founded the Advanced Projects Group (APG)—an enigmatic organization creating magic with companies you’ve heard of for projects you wouldn’t believe.

Join our Futurespaces talk as Stewart presents career highlights that led to APG, and expounds on a subject that continues to fascinate him: quantum computing. (Contrary to pop-science hype, our quantum reality isn’t “mystical” or “spiritual” in the least. But it is super-cool.) Come for the design inspo. Stick around for a quick explainer on qubits and superposition—no physics required.
