John Anderson is a Partner at Smart Design, blending expertise in software development, hardware engineering, data science, and experience design to create impactful, human-centered solutions. As project director for the award-winning Gatorade Gx platform, he integrated IoT, data science, and biomedical engineering. Currently, he leads a team building an IoT platform powered by AI, machine learning, and smart sensing. A passionate advocate for accessibility, John also serves as a technical advisor at NYU Stern and has spoken at events like Adobe’s 99u, Fast Company’s Innovation Festival, and Saudi Arabia Design Week. When not innovating, he enjoys visiting his hometown on Cape Cod.
